Dear Patekova

I understand your feelings, but this decision to unveil the 50th Anniversary Nautilus models alongside the other new Watches & Wonders 2026 releases seems consistent with the stated intention, for several years now, to ensure that the Nautilus remains jus

I stopped playing concerts in 2002

Between 2000 and 2002 six people very dear to me passed away. They were nurturers and mentors. I asked myself how do I want to spend the time I had left. The answer was teaching, practicing and sitting in cafes playing chess and watching girls go by. Come

I really love this Chopard L.U.C 1860 blue dial.

For me this type of dial and hands from Chopard look the best and are my favourite they really remind me of my Chopard L.U.C Sport 2000 which has the same style as this watch although maybe not as good a movement as this 1860. Marc

Imho, horology is doing the very best it ever has! We have the widest variety of 'brands', plus talented watch makers, and DIY'ers, offering the most qty of different timepieces in the history of watches..

From cheap knock-offs and new Asian creations to British, Danish, French, Singapore, of course Germany.... Frankly, a Longines for $2000 is a lot of timepiece, or DIY it for a few hundred. For those who truly value talented watch makers creating artistic

Just pretty to look at.

The original Boutique Edition Duomètre Unique Travel Time in white gold, ref. 600.3.16S, one in a series of 100. I wish JLC would return to the inventiveness and daring that characterized the 2000s - 2010s - to me the high water mark in the brand's modern

“South America” ref. 2523: a major resurfacing

To my knowledge, there are only three Patek Philippe World Time ref. 2523 with a cloisonné enamel dial depicting a map of South America . The first one has never appeared in public: it is only described on page 159 of the book by Giampiero Negretti & Paol

“La Maison Platine”

This full platinum example with original bracelet of Patek Philippe 's ref. 2552 will be sold by Sotheby's next April 24th. For whatever reason, they call it “ La Maison Platine ” (The Platinum House). What is certain is that platinum 2552s are very rare

Fantastic Bill. This is very exciting.

We’ve all noticed some great older threads being revived over the last year or two here, and seeing those threads always encouraged further searching and reading. The wealth of independent watchmaker knowledge that was shared here in the 2000s and early 2
